evt(https://github.com/argentum47/everm) is a version managing tool. It lets you have multiple versions of emacs at the same time.

It is in very alpha stage,not that it breaks something, but building emacs on different distro normally is hard, because build breaks for reasons I don't know.

Which is one of the problems. The second problem being getting the users to get the build tools before installing emacs via evt.

I have covered for fedora and debian and macos. But there must be a better solution than a script for each distro.
