I realize there are not too many competitors to Patreon out there and I would like to know how many in the Hacker News community would be interested in an open-source version of Patreon? It includes Stripe connect (https://stripe.com/connect) features so you could either roll your own Patreon style fund request page or offer it as a service for other niche markets.
