I was listening to some obscure artists radio on Spotify and spotted the same tune (with little variations) featured multiple times on the same playlist by different artist names/album covers, probably all AI generated.

Tracks are easy to spot as they are all the same lenght (1:37), but later Spotify also played/recommended a shorter version (1:08).

The evil idea here is to flood Spotify with maybe thousands of fake songs/artists to make some money from royalties.

For sure, it's a miserable experience for the listener and I fear it will only get worst.
