Ask HN: Deprecated WiFi Settings in Latest macOS?
Prior to the latest update there was an option for disabling "Remember Wifi Networks" separate from the "Auto-join" option, in order to prevent storing Wifi connections. [0] This allowed you not to have click on "forget network" every single time.

This option seems missing in the latest MacOS. And there used to be a list of stored past wifi connections which is not there anymore.

Did they actually remove the ability to not store Wifi connection information?
