Hi guys, I've been looking for a job for the role of a machine learning engineer, Unfortunately, I'm a fresher so I hope you understand the position I'm in.

At this point, I'm a little confused about what the recruiters expect from the [Fresher] candidates.

If you are a MLE or Data Scientist or a recruiter in this domain, what qualities do you look for?

[Question is specific on portfolio projects as current market values experience and I can't show it yet so a good project can be my good option]
