I built FocusFour because I was busy all day but still missing the things that actually mattered.

FocusFour is a task manager based on the Eisenhower Matrix, built directly on top of Apple Reminders. Recently I added lightweight AI to help identify and surface tasks that are likely important but getting ignored.

What it does:

* Four-quadrant (important vs. urgent) task view * Uses AI to highlight and reprioritize important tasks * Native Apple Reminders integration (no new inbox, no migration) * Local-first, no accounts * iOS, iPadOS, macOS

I’m curious about two things:

* Whether AI-assisted prioritization is actually useful long-term * Tradeoffs of building on system tools instead of owning all task data
