Show HN: Ironpad – Local-first project management with Git versioning
I built a local-first project management tool that stores everything as plain Markdown files with automatic Git versioning.

The idea: your notes, tasks, and projects live as files you own. Edit them in the app, in VS Code, or in Vim – changes sync in real-time via WebSocket. Every save is auto-committed to Git with a full diff viewer in the UI.

Tech: Rust/Axum backend (5 MB binary), Vue 3 frontend with Milkdown WYSIWYG editor. No cloud, no database, no Electron. Just a single executable that opens your browser.

Features: task management with due dates/tags/subtasks/recurrence, calendar view, daily notes, ripgrep-powered search, dark theme.

The entire app was built with AI (Claude Opus 4.5/4.6 in Cursor). We share the full process openly – PRD, task breakdowns, and workflow docs are all in the repo.

Looking for feedback, what features would you like to see in the future, is this usable/valuable?
